Responsibilities of the role
- Coordination o complex accounting issues and assists the Finance Manager in the resolution of financial issues
- Approves journals, ensuring consistency and completeness of all postings with correct coding, classification, and alignment with local accounting standards
- Acts as key contact for queries concerning accounting and other finance matters
- Maintain adherence to local statutory reporting rules and tax requirements for entities in the region and lead communication with external and internal auditors
- Inspires and motivates employees to deliver exceptional service through example, innovation, risk-taking, and a willingness to explore new ideas
- Assists in identifying and evaluating improvement areas for individual, team, and department-related performance measures, etc.
